Currently I’m a Professor at Sheridan College of Art in the Faculty of Arts and Animation, Art Fundamentals, Painting Program.

Educated in London England at Hornsey College of Art, graduated in 1975 with a BA Honours in Graphic Design

I worked for the early part of my career as an Illustrator for Paperjacks Books, The Toronto Star, The Canadian Magazine and in the Graphic Design Department of City TV. As a Scientific Illustrator for The National Museums of Canada and Agriculture Canada where I produced a huge body of work that is now hidden away inside book jackets waiting to be discovered by enthusiastic botanists and biologists. After my children were born I started working as a Fine Artist and Portraitist. Since 1992 my paintings have been shown and collected in the United States and Canada. My portraits have been commissioned by Corporations and for personal collections. As a Teacher I taught various painting mediums, life drawing and portraiture for Continuing Education at Loyalist College in Belleville for several years .

I’am so proud and excited to be one of the artist/animators on Breakthru Films’ extraordinary film “Loving Vincent” directed by Dorota Kobiela.
